Nate’s, 306 S. Main St., Buda, Ste. 101, is planning to open the third week of April, co-owner Richard Veregge said. The shop will have an extensive wine selection and will also feature Cuvee coffee, about 20 craft beers on tap, cocktails and food from Independence Fine Foods, Veregge said.
“We’re shooting for a bar that’s pretty laid back,” he said.
Nate’s aims to appeal to the late-night bar crowd and early morning coffee drinkers, he said. The bar will open in the morning and will close at 2 a.m.
“We’ll see how early we need to open to catch the coffee crowd,” he said.
Everything in the bar—from the bar to the furniture—was custom built by Veregge, Bumb and their partners. Veregge estimated the team has been working on building the bar for at least six months.
