Helping residents of Cedar Park fix their technology problems is a passion for TSI Computer Services co-owner Mike Steele.

Steele said he worked closely with computers when he worked as a director at a radio station prior to owning his technology repair business.

“When the radio business changed, it was the next move for me,” Steele said. “I have always worked near technology.”

Steele said TSI offers information technology support for small- and medium-sized businesses as well as laptop and server repairs. TSI also offers some Web development help.

Steele and his wife, Sandi, said they pride themselves on the level of service and care they provide to their customers.

“It’s a mom and pop shop,” Steele said. “We decided to keep it small so that we can have that personal relationship with our customers. … Usually, when someone calls in to us, they aren’t having a great day. I like being able to reassure them—that’s the best part for me. We are here to help people.”

Technology classes

Mike and Sandi Steele offer classes about Internet safety and navigation. Mike said the course can be a great option for high school students to teach them about the importance of having a positive social media presence as they apply for college and jobs. The Steeles have also taught classes at nursing homes for people who want to learn to become “more tech-savvy,” Mike said. Courses also teach people how to use online resources to connect with their families. Upcoming classes are posted on TSI’s website.
