The Pflugerville restaurant will offer weekly deals including two or three dinner dishes that will change depending on what is available and in season at the market. "We like to serve fresh," said Doris, who grew up in France in a family of bakers. Doris said the restaurant is also applying for a liquor license that would allow patrons to bring their own beer and wine to drink for dinner. Whole cakes will also be available to buy. The French bakery opened in 2011. Homer said macarons, almond meringue cookies filled with flavors such as buttercream, jam or chocolate are the most popular offering. Also on the bakery's menu are traditional French baked goods, including croissants, quiches and crepes. The restaurant also caters to the breakfast crowd with egg dishes and French toast and sells hot sandwiches for lunch. 2604 W. Pecan St., Ste.
