The first building at Waterleaf Medical Center at Davis Lane is "virtually complete," said Michael O'Neal, partner with B3 Commercial Management LLC.
The roughly 20,000- square-foot building at 5000 Davis Lane has been divided into four suites.
The first tenant, Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology, has been seeing patients since the beginning of June, he said. The second, Dr. Pejman Khosravian's practice Austin Root Canal Specialists, is slated to open by the end of June.
Texas Fertility Clinic will follow by the end of July, and dentist Jeffrey Brunson's practice, Brunson Dental, may open in mid-September, O'Neal said.
Developers have secured a building permit for the medical center's planned second building and are working on closing on a loan, O'Neal said. He said construction should begin in late June.
Work on a proposed third building is dependent on the timetable of the second building, he said.
When completed, Waterleaf, a medical hub, will comprise six buildings with more than 100,000 square feet of combined space at the intersection of Davis Lane and MoPac.
