“When the staff brings back recommendations for what we should do, we need to be well versed in that and have an optimum input for maximum output,” Bastrop Mayor Lyle Nelson said. “So that's what we're looking to do.”
Members of the Bastrop development community will be in attendance to discuss policy recommendations. Bastrop residents are encouraged to make a reservation and attend the event. Lunch will be provided.
“If you don't have the input from a variety of people and a crosssection [of the] community, then you're not making sound decisions,” Nelson said.
