The gas station will be shut down until the kiosk renovation is completed in early April.

In a nutshell

Administrators with the City of Bastrop Building and Permitting Department said the renovation will result in the addition of a restroom area to the gas station kiosk and should be completed by early April—when the gas station will reopen.

Some context

The $30 million project began last summer with the expansion of the grocery store's parking lot.

As previously reported by Community Impact, other updates in the works will include:
  • A True Texas BBQ restaurant
  • More pharmacy space
  • Replacement of the refrigeration cases
  • Expanded administrative offices and break areas for employees
  • Increased space for curbside services
What else?

Renovations to the actual building are set to begin July 1, according to the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation. When finished, the store will gain an extra 18,000 square feet of space.
