Enrollment is open for Bastrop's first beauty school, DeLeon Beauty Institute—set to open in early spring.

The brainchild of Eve DeLeon, founder of DeLeon Nail Studio, the beauty school will offer two program options: cosmetologist and manicurist.

Classes range from seven months for full-time students to 13 months for part-time students, and payment plans are available, DeLeon said.

"Having education in this field offers a wide range of career opportunities," DeLeon said. "This is the beginning of something amazing, and we cannot wait to see all of our students thrive in their beauty professions."
