Gas station opens north of Bastrop
A new Texaco gas station is open at Camp Swift along Hwy. 95. Ice cream, small groceries and snacks are available at the stop.
Texaco offers regular, power plus and power premium gasoline as well as ultralow sulfur diesel at the location’s 12 self-service pumps.
Hyperloop Plaza opens its doors in Bastrop County
Hyperloop Plaza opened off of FM 1209 in November as the location for several new businesses under one roof. The plaza is located nearby The Boring Company and Starlink facilities.
Boring Bodega, which also opened in November, offers roadside drinks and snacks as part of the Hyperloop Plaza. Complete with a small cafe serving coffee and tea, the bodega offers indoor and outdoor seating.
AT&T opens second store in Bastrop
Bastrop's second AT&T store opened in early December.
Situated near Walmart, between GNC and Great Nails, the newest store offers help with AT&T services, in addition to carrying a range of smart devices from the most popular brands, including Apple, Samsung, Google and more.
