With locations on South Congress Avenue and the Georgetown square, Prima Dora offers shoppers unique gifts, clothing and jewelry made by local artists. According to Prima Dora’s owner Alan Barnette, the Bastrop location will be called In the Sticks.

The store will sell art from San Antonio and New Braunfels as well as California and New Orleans. The storefront will be located downtown in the 1908 Bank Building.

“[I] like to go out and find unusual crazy things to put in here and make people laugh,” Barnette said. “Just fun stuff. [We] try to be a little unusual, not like everybody else.”
