Participants will have the opportunity to meet the event’s restoration experts over a catered lunch provided by The Storehouse.
The following speakers will make an appearance at the event:
- Mary Bledsoe: An acclaimed figure in interior design, Bledsoe has a technical background in construction and detailing.
- Clint Hille: A hands-on and supervisory conservator of historic homes, Hille will speak on the details of restoration practices.
- Candace and John Volz: Nationally renowned restoration experts, the Volzes will discuss renewing historical traditions of homes.
“This symposium promises to be a unique opportunity for enthusiasts of history, architecture and interior design to gain insights from historic restoration experts and explore the rich heritage of Bastrop's historic homes,” said Nicole DeGuzman, executive director of the Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center, in a news release.
