St. David's Emergency Center-Bastrop is undergoing renovations; however, officials confirmed there will be no interruptions to facility operations.

What's happening

Renovations began in August, and include interior and exterior cosmetic upgrades, such as work on the building's brickwork and cabinets inside the emergency center.

What they offer

According to the website, the free-standing emergency room offers:

• 10 exam rooms
• Board-certified emergency physicians and trauma-certified nurses
• An on-site medical laboratory for prompt diagnostics
• On-site imaging services, such as CT scans, ultrasounds and X-rays

St. David's Emergency Center-Bastrop officials declined to comment on when the renovations will be completed.
