Bastrop's Parks and Recreation Department will partner with the Bastrop Police Department to offer games, a movie, snacks and more at this year’s Easter in the Park on April 5.

What’s happening

Children 12 and younger can join one of two Easter egg hunts—each divided by age group.

Other activities will include local vendors, games, bounce houses, snacks and special guests like the Easter Bunny and Blue the Police Bear, officials said.

The timeline
  • 6 p.m.: event begins
  • 6:15 p.m.: Easter egg hunt for ages 5 and younger with optional adult assistance
  • 6:45 p.m.: Easter egg hunt for ages 6-12 with no adult assistance
  • Dusk: movie showing of “Rise of the Guardians”
