What to expect
In a news release from the city of Bastrop, officials said over 100 floats, fire trucks, cowboys and more will come together to spread holiday cheer.
Attendees can expect festive music and lights throughout the parade. What’s different?
The 1-mile route runs along Main Street and will utilize different start and end points this year; however, city officials said they are still working on those details as of press time.
There will also be no preparation or unloading area for parade participants at Bastrop High School due to construction and limited space.
“Your float/entry must be complete upon arrival and entry into the lineup,” officials said.
What else?
