From trunk-or-treats to haunted houses, Bastrop residents have several opportunities to get into the spirit of Halloween. Although costumes are encouraged, they are not required.

Scream Hollow

Five themed haunted houses are available, as well as live music, a hayride, food and drinks, nightly bonfires, and photo opportunities scattered throughout. A Halloween museum is also available at the site, which benefits the Texas Halloween History Museum, a nonprofit organization that works to preserve the history of Halloween.

Bastrop Boo Bash

The community event will offer trick- and trunk-or-treating, balloon art, games, treats and more—with themed photo opportunities scattered throughout the festival.Bastrop Trunk-or-Treat

Decorated vehicles will be parked while trick-or-treaters play games and receive candy.Lost Pines Trick-or-Treat


The event will offer trick-or-treaters candy, popcorn and photo opportunities.Tahitian Village Trunk-or-Treat

Residents will decorate their vehicles and pass out candy to those attending.

Halloween Spooktacular

Attendees can expect a not-so-scary haunted house, a scary haunted house, spooky treats offered by Bastrop Cafe and barbecue plates available for purchase.
