What you need to know
Officials said this year’s festival is focused on art from around the world, and will include a performance by Austin’s Okinawa Tomonokai Dance Ensemble.
Other offerings will include hands-on activities like painting, browsing local vendors, food and art demonstrations.
What's happening
The festival schedule is as follows:
- All day: arts and crafts vendors and artisan pizza by Slice Society ATX
- 10 a.m.-noon: glassblowing demonstrations
- 11:00-11:30 a.m.: the Bastrop High School Bear Stage Theater presents an excerpt from Beauty and the Beast
- Noon-1 p.m.: bronze pouring by Bastrop’s Pyrology Foundry & Studio
- 1:30-2:15 p.m.: performance by Austin’s Okinawa Tomonokai Dance Ensemble
- 2-4 p.m.: customized glass-blown pumpkin demonstration
