Bastrop County participates in the Countywide Polling Place Program, which allows voters to use any polling location within their county rather than having to stay within their precinct.
Early voting locations include:
- Bastrop County Courthouse Annex, 804 Pecan St., Bastrop
- Smithville Recreation Center, 106 Royston St., Smithville
- Bastrop County Cedar Creek Annex, 5785 FM 535, Cedar Creek
- North Bastrop County Community Annex, 704 Bull Run, Elgin

Early voting locations will be open during the following dates and times:
- April 22-25, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- April 28-29, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Voters will have the opportunity to participate in races for various positions within their districts.

According to information from the elections office and the latest U.S. Census Bureau data, about 59% of Bastrop County residents were registered to vote as of April 21.
Residents can check their voter registration status on the Texas Secretary of State website; however, voter registration ended April 3.
