What to know
The school will host a pep rally on Jan. 17 to celebrate the milestone in addition to a fair, an open house, a ceremony, a barbecue fundraiser and cake.
Current students, teachers, alumni, family and friends are welcome to attend the event taking place from 3-6 p.m.
The background
The early college high school is a partnership between Bastrop ISD and Austin Community College, as stated on its website.
The campus is limited to 80 students per cohort and students must attend a summer bridge program where they visit sites, are exposed to guest speakers, prepare for their introduction to the program and work on team-building skills.
