The local Italian restaurant first opened its doors to the Bastrop community in May 2019. The menu features Leo Gaertner’s family recipes and includes dishes such as granny’s lasagna pie, meatball sliders with homemade Hawaiian bread rolls and Italian cream cake.
Co-owner of the restaurant Michelle Gaertner said staff at the restaurant handed out free gift bags to guests who ate at the restaurant on the special occasion. Each bag had Leo’s Italian Grill merchandise.
