A brand of Choice Hotels International, Everhome Suites Bastrop is on track to open near Ascension Seton Bastrop Hospital in early 2025—a little over a year after construction began.

Some context

Hotel spokesperson Gabriela Melendez said in an email to Community Impact that the company decided to expand into Bastrop to accommodate the city’s growing demand for an extended-stay hotel and its proximity to large production facilities—namely Elon Musk-led ventures like X, SpaceX and The Boring Co.

“The city is also poised for further growth upon completion of a 550-acre film studio and entertainment district,” she said.

At nearly 58,000 square feet, Melendez said the four-story hotel will house 114 guest rooms, each with a fully furnished kitchen, spa-style bathroom and large closet. Some of them, she said, will also offer in-room washers and dryers.
