KOKE-FM announced Thursday morning its plans to bring a new music festival, KOKEFEST, to Hutto on Aug. 19.

"This festival will be a celebration of all things KOKE-FM," station program director Eric Raines said. "We plan to make this an annual event with food, family, music and community."

The festival will feature John Baumann, Jason Boland & The Stragglers, the Turnpike Troubadours and Robert Earl Keen as the main act.

It will take place at the Gin at the Co-Op District with a number of early bird general admission tickets available for $25 and VIP packages on sale for $50.

"The Gin at the Co-Op district is a beautiful venue, and we are proud that KOKE-FM chose Hutto to launch their first musical festival," City Manager Odis Jones said.

VIP packages include free parking, a private bar and bathroom facilities, a covered viewing area and commemorative KOKEFEST gift.

Ticket sales began at 7:10 a.m. on Thursday, April 13 on the radio station's website.

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Honor Flight Austin, which supports veterans.
