Pflugerville Pfamily Pfestival and Expo. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stone Hill Town Center, Hilltop Commercial Dr. south of Cinemark, Pflugerville. Sponsored by the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce, the Pflugerville Pfamily Pfestival and Expo is a Pflugerville tradition with 2016 marking the festival’s 17th year. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of Pflugerville area businesses at the free event, and can participate in a number festival activities. Helicopters are expected fly in from Travis County STAR flight, the National Guard and Texas Department of Transportation, and there will also be pet adoption hosted by the Pflugerville Animal Shelter. 2nd Annual Bluebonnet Beer Company Oktoberfest. Noon to 6 p.m. 1700 Bryant Dr., Round Rock. The German-inspired festival will feature a variety of entertainment such as polka music, inflatables for children, contests and more. American and German style beers will be served, in addition to bratwurst and soft pretzels. All ages are welcome, but minors must be accompanied by an adult. Pflugerville Harvest Fest. 1 to 4 p.m. Heritage House Museum, 901 Old Austin Hutto Rd., Pflugerville. The event will feature bratwurst, hot dogs and live music, in addition to children’s activities such as face painting, a fishing pond and bean bag toss. 2016 marks the second year for the festival, which celebrates Pflugerville’s past and Heritage House Museum, a former home to one of Pflugerville’s founding families. TRAXXAS Monster Truck Destruction Tour. 2 p.m. Dell Diamond, 3400 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock. Featuring monster trucks Bigfoot, Skully and Thunder Chicken, that will compete in racing and wheelie contests in addition to free-style performances. Bull-riding is also part of the show, with the nation’s top bull riders competing against the America Pro Rodeo Bucking Bull. Tickets range from $10 to $50.
