FM 1488 widening west of Magnolia
Project: FM 1488 is being widened from two to four lanes with a continuous left-turn lane between the Waller County line and FM 1774 in Magnolia, according to a July construction update from the Texas Department of Transportation.
Update: The project is 98% complete, according to the July report from TxDOT.
- Timeline: November 2020-second quarter 2026
- Cost: $35.35 million
- Funding source: state funds
FM 1488 widening through Magnolia
Project: FM 1488 is being widened from two to four lanes with a continuous left-turn lane between FM 1774 in Magnolia and west of FM 149.
Update: The project is 68% complete, according to a July update from TxDOT.
- Timeline: June 2022-fourth quarter 2027
- Cost: $48.29 million
- Funding source: state funds
Hufsmith-Kohrville Road, Segment 3A widening
Project: The two-lane road will be widened to four lanes from north of Ezekiel Road to north of Boudreaux Road.
Update: Harris County Precinct 3 officials said the project is ahead of schedule and could be completed before 2028.
