A Harris County Precinct 4 project seeks to improve traffic congestion and air quality through improvements to Spring Cypress Road. A joint effort with the Texas Department of Transportation, the project will widen Spring Cypress to six lanes from Hwy. 249 to east of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road and rebuild the traffic signal at Hufsmith-Kohrville.
