Road closures on the Grand Parkway are planned for June 27-29 as part of the Texas Department of Transportation’s widening project, according to a June 27 news release from TxDOT.
What you need to know
From 8 p.m. June 27 until 7 a.m. June 28 the following closure will be in place:
- Westbound main lanes of the Grand Parkway from Champion Forest to Hwy. 249 will be closed. A detour is available via Boudreaux Road.
From 8 p.m. June 28 until 9 a.m. June 29, the following closures will be in place:
- Eastbound main lanes of the Grand Parkway from west of Hwy. 249 to Gleannloch Forest Drive will be closed. A detour is available via Boudreaux Road.
- The eastbound direct connector from the Grand Parkway to Hwy. 249 southbound will be closed. A detour is available via the Hwy. 249 southbound frontage road.
- The Hwy. 249 northbound direct connector to eastbound Grand Parkway will be closed. A detour is available via the Hwy. 249 frontage road and Boudreaux Road.
