Photo by Tamra SantanaJesus and Cristina Lozano have a passion for cooking. The couple, who immigrated to the area from Mexico three decades ago, are sharing their fresh, homemade Mexican food with area residents at their Tomball restaurant, Rikissimo!
The taqueria, tucked in a strip mall off Kuykendahl, opened in November.
"Opening this was a dream come true," Jesus said. "We have always wanted to own a restaurant."
The couple makes all the food served at Rikissimo!, including the five meat choices for tacos–beef, pork, barbacoa, carnitas and chicken–which are marinated and slow-cooked for hours.
