The Harris County Housing Authority and The ITEX Group celebrated the grand opening of Retreat at Westlock on Oct. 18 with county officials and future residents in attendance. The apartment community, located at 24055 Hwy. 249, Tomball, offers affordable housing for seniors age 62 or older. The facility features 140 units with one- and two-bedroom options, a community pool and covered pavilion, and a business center. Officials said the facility will be move-in ready for eligible residents later this fall. www.hchatexas.org
