The cooler fall weather may help attendance at two 5K events planned for Saturday.
The Woodforest National Bank is sponsoring its annual 5K Tomball Dash Saturday, benefiting the Woodforest Charitable Foundation. The foundation helps multiple local charities, including the Boys and Girls Country and TOMAGWA.

In addition, RE/MAX and the Woodforest Development is sponsoring a 5k Hometown Walk for a Miracle. The event, which starts at 8 a.m., helps the Children's Miracle Network and Texas Children's Hospital.
