According to the Texas Department of Transportation and Houston TranStar database, northbound and southbound lanes of Hwy. 249 between the Harris-Montgomery county line and FM 149 north are closed nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, March 26, to Thursday, March 29. Drivers can expect moving lane closures. As the closure is not a full closure of the roadway, two alternate lanes are available. One outside lane of Hwy. 249 is also closed northbound between Brown Road and Spring Creek from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, March 26, to Friday, March 30.
