Photo courtesy Celeste GravesTo give residents an opportunity to learn about their city's history and raise money for the Magnolia Historical Society, the 19th Annual Depot Day is set for Saturday, April 21.
The daylong event, which runs from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., includes 43 vendors, a live and silent auction, bounce houses and slides, barbecue and live entertainment by Country Jim and the All Stars.
"The museum will be open for everyone to look at and [historical society members] will be there to give people the history of the city and tours if they want them," said Celeste Graves, town historian and author of "Magnolia Memories."
Graves said the event is the Magnolia Historical Society's biggest fundraiser of the year and enables them to maintain the Historic Magnolia Depot complex and add new exhibits to the museum.
