According to Troy Garza, brand recognition is essential for success in the fashion industry. As owner of CLEAN by Troy Garza, he has teamed up with mixed martial arts fighter Mike Bronzoulis, among others, to help promote his clothing line.

"We're trying to get a following," Garza said. "It's just a matter of people seeing our logo and recognizing it. When people see [Mike] on TV coming out with our logo all over, it makes a world of difference."

Garza designs the clothes himself and said about 90 percent of his sales are fueled by his women's clothing line.

The nonprofit organization gives a percentage of sales to people in need in the Tomball community, he said.

"Part of our brand is about inspiring other people by the good you're doing," he said. "It's not all about the clothes you wear. When people see our label, I want them to think they're not just bettering themselves, they're helping others. That's what CLEAN means."
