Tomball city officials are proposing $53 million in capital projects during fiscal year 2023-24, according to an Aug. 21 budget workshop presentation.

- Baker Drive water plant: $4.6 million
- FM 2920 lift station consolidation: $4.8 million
- South wastewater treatment plant expansion: $16.97 million

“Now that we look at the number of projects we have, the cost of all these projects, we really need to take a multiyear look at—how do we manage our capital needs?” Esquivel said. “We’re setting up the capital projects fund in more of a multiyear strategy.”
