[g-slider gid="254065" width="100%" height="55%"] Old Town Tomball is getting in the food truck trend with its newest park catering to a wide range of palates. Gretchen and Mike Fagan opened 403 Eats on June 1 at 403 E. Main St., Tomball. Gretchen serves as mayor of the city of Tomball, and the couple also opened a Farmers Insurance branch down the street before getting into the food truck business.
“It’s been phenomenal—the people in Tomball, they’re so supportive,” Gretchen said. “Everybody’s coming out and wishing us well. They like to see mom and pops flourish here.”
Gretchen said the food truck owners have signed three-month leases to park at the site, after which new trucks will be brought in.
The park’s summer lineup includes Cousins Maine Lobster, Pocket To Me, Greek Squad, Tacos Ole, Tikiz Shaved Ice and Lyndley’s. Food options range from seafood and tacos to barbecue and Greek cuisine.
