National multifamily developer Wood Partners announced it broke ground on Alta Timberline, a 204-unit luxury multifamily community estimated to arrive in Tomball in May 2027, according to a Feb. 19 news release.

There will be a total of seven three-story buildings, all featuring a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. Each unit will have stainless steel appliances, an in-unit washer and dryer, granite countertops, custom cabinetry, designer wood-style plank flooring and walk-in closets, according to the news release.

“This project reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality housing in locations that give residents direct access to community offerings, while also providing premium amenities and thoughtful design,” said Bart Barrett, managing director at Wood Partners.

Amenities include, but aren’t limited to, a clubhouse, pool, a shaded outdoor kitchen area with grill stations, TVs, fans and seating, two pickleball courts, a dog park, a business lounge and a fitness center. Wood Partners also has plans to add a new sidewalk and pedestrian access gate to the community.
