Development update: H-E-B confirms Magnolia store will open by end of year

Representatives of H-E-B confirmed in an email April 26 that the Magnolia store at FM 1488 and Spur 149 will open by the end of the year.

H-E-B is the anchor of the Magnolia Place development, a mixed-use project underway by Stratus Properties, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported.

According to previous reporting, the H-E-B will be 95,000 square feet and include a fuel station and car wash.

Community Impact Newspaper previously reported in January that H-E-B could not provide an opening timeline for the store until construction was farther along due to supply chain issues affecting construction.

Nearby, Magnolia Village, another mixed-use retail center, is anticipated to start construction in early May across Spur 149 from the H-E-B under construction, according to previous reporting.
