The Bluebonnet Tasting Room, which first opened its doors in January, is planned to expand to a new building next door that will serve as an events space, owner Rachel Moore said via email.
“We will be using the new building for intimate events, wine-tasting events, wine classes, etc.,” Moore said. “It will have a bridal suite for bridal parties as well.”
The new building previously housed The Weird Sister, a full-service bar that is relocating to a new location along Snook Lane.
“Our customers can expect a cozy, intimate event space that is cohesive to our current space,” Moore said. “We’ll also be offering a bigger selection of beer and wine in the new space when we don’t have events booked.”
