The completion dates for two road construction projects on Hwy. 242 have been moved to the third quarter of 2022, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
1. A TxDOT project will construct a grade separation along Hwy. 242 from west to east of FM 1314. This is one of four projects to construct an overpass at Hwy. 242 and FM 1314. The project was 89% complete as of June 24.

2. The portion of the Hwy. 242 grade separation project from west of FM 1314 to east of Needham Road was 93% complete as of the June TxDOT report. The original end date was given by TxDOT as the first quarter of this year.
