For parents who do not want to sacrifice a sophisticated adult meal and atmosphere while entertaining their children, Zunum in Shenandoah combines a play area for children and gourmet menu to please their parents. Ranging from shrimp tacos with an Asian slaw to swiss, honey and ham paninis, Zunum's menu is designed to appeal to a range of tastes.

"You feel like an adult when you walk in and an adult when you leave," general manager Shawna Wilkins said.

Offering bistro cuisine, Wilkins said Zunum features sandwiches, burgers, crepes and paninis among other dishes. In addition to offering a healthy children's menu, restaurant staff monitor the indoor playground equipment, which is safe for ages 2-12.
