The Woodlands Township will host a town hall meeting Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. to inform residents about the ongoing transit plan.
The township, the Texas Department of Transportation and the Houston-Galveston Area Council are working together to come up with a transit plan to improve mobility in and around The Woodlands. The plan is expected to be complete by the fall.
According to the H-GAC, the plan is a comprehensive study that explores ways in which transit services currently provided in The Woodlands and surrounding areas of south Montgomery and north Harris counties could be improved or complemented with new services.
Carlene Mullins, H-GAC transportation planner, said part of the process is to engage the public for comments.
