1. I-45 HOV lane extension
The I-45 high-occupancy vehicle lane extension will add one lane in each direction along I-45 from north of FM 1960 to the South Loop 336 in Conroe. Construction began in October 2015. The project will be complete the second quarter of 2016, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

2. FM 2978 widening
The four-mile widening of FM 2978 includes adding two lanes, one in each direction, from FM 1488 to Conroe-Hufsmith Road. The 2.5 mile project design was completed in March 2015. The bid receive date was slated for December 2015. Construction was supposed to have commenced in the fourth quarter of 2015. Once construction begins, the project will take three years.
