Waffle Daddy opened in December on Rayford Road and offers a variety of hot and cold coffee options.
One of the most popular beverages at the new Spring eatery is the Toasted Marshmallow Latte. The $3 drink is made with frothed milk, a shot of espresso and marshmallow syrup.
The mocha, cappuccino and latte options accompany the Belgian street waffles sold at Waffle Daddy. The most popular waffle is one made with strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
“There’s not really a place like this in the nearby area,” said Rozalynn Galindo, daughter of owner Frank Galindo. “We have the pearl sugar and the waffle irons shipped from Belgium. We try to keep our syrups local and organic. We’re still tweaking toppings; soon we’ll have savory waffles.”
