Tailgators combines refreshing flavors to create Cucumber Blueberry Martini

In addition to a Cajun-inspired menu, Tailgators Pub & Grill on Egypt Lane offers a wide variety of cocktails and beers for customers.

General Manager Chris Pollock said the $8 cucumber blueberry martini is a favorite among customers. Pollock said the martini is made with Effen Cucumber Vodka, Skyy Blueberry vodka, cranberry juice and housemade simple syrup.

“It’s a popular drink here besides whiskey,” Pollock said.

Tailgators’ drink menu also includes Louisiana beers like Abita Purple Haze, which fit the eatery’s Cajun theme, Pollock said.

“Our restaurant is unique since there are not very many Cajun places in the area, and we are a sports bar with a Cajun flair,” Pollock said.

Cajun food like fried alligator tacos can also be found on the menu.

Tailgators also offers happy hour specials from Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Karaoke nights are also held on Wednesdays at the eatery.
