Road Bond Committee sets proposal date

"In District 4, it's a toss up between the overpass at [Hwy.] 242 and widening of [Hwy.] 105 E.," Doyal said. "Either one of those projects has very high priority."

Blair said the projects that could be included in the bond has yet to be completed.

"While we made much progress by our original goal of early February, we still have work to do to complete the list," Blair said. "So we are now looking to hit the ground running with public presentations by the end of February. We are very excited to bring the final ideas to the public, and the committee already has a crowded calendar of public presentations."

One goal of the RBC is to encourage voters to pass the road bond in May, Blair said. The RBC aims to inform the public about the need to advance mobility within Montgomery County.
