Photo Courtesy Interfaith of The WoodlandsInterfaith of The Woodlands continued its successful holiday assistance program in 2012, providing foods and gifts to more than 3,400 underprivileged children and adults in the community.
Through Interfaith's Adopt-A-Family and Holiday Toy Drive, 2,100 children received holiday gifts while 1,300 seniors received gifts, food and gift certificates to the nonprofit organization's Hand-Me-Up Shop.
"Interfaith continually strives to help our community, and through [its] holiday programs including Adopt-A-Family, Interfaith's Holiday Toy Drive, and Gifts for Seniors, Interfaith was able to a large number of individuals," said Dr. Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.
According to Interfaith, local individuals, families, congregations, organizations and other groups donated funds and gifts to support the programs.
