The Woodlands Township announced several service updates in advance of predicted winter weather Jan. 24-26.

What you need to know

Several township services will be affected by the weather, and additional announcements will be made as the weekend advances, according to an announcement from The Woodlands Township.
  • Park restrooms within The Woodlands will be closed from Saturday morning through Monday or later, depending on when they can be safely opened, according to information from the township. Water will be shut off to the restrooms, and the water lines will be cleared to prevent pipe damage.
  • The Riva Row Boat House, Lakes Edge Boat House and Swans at the Mall Boat House will be closed from 3 p.m. Saturday through at least Sunday.
  • Texas TreeVentures will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.
As of Jan. 22, several facilities were expected to still be open on Saturday.
  • The Woodlands Recycling Center will be open Saturday during normal hours.
  • Both Recreation Centers in The Woodlands will be open Saturday and operate normal hours.
  • Town Center Trolleys are expected to operate normal hours Saturday, and operations on Sunday and Monday will be determined this weekend.

A determination for Monday operations will be made on Sunday for township services such as The Woodlands Express, Waste Management trash pickup and township facilities.
