There are several events taking place in The Woodlands area this spring including several Easter egg hunts and events. All events are subject to change, and this list is not comprehensive.
Recycling drive-thru
The Woodlands Township is holding a free drive-thru recycling event in which residents can recycle items that cannot be recycled in curbside carts.
Forest Park open house
An open house will be held for families who wish to learn more about Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery. Refreshments will be served and guests are asked to RSVP to schedule times.
Walk for MS
The Walk for MS is an opportunity for people with multiple sclerosis, a chronic autoimmune disease, to be surrounded by their friends, family and loved ones while raising money for a cure.
Meet an opera singer
Children can meet an opera singer at The Woodlands Children's Museum during an introductory recital, presentation and a Q&A session with a Houston Grand Opera teaching artist.
Flashlight Egg Hunt
Attendees are invited to bring their flashlights and Easter baskets to an egg hunt and visit from the Easter Bunny.
Coffee and Bagels with a Cop
Residents can meet other residents and local law enforcement while enjoying coffee and conversations.
Sunset Egg Scramble
Attendees can celebrate Easter with an Easter egg hunt. A prize will be awarded to the participant who finds the golden egg.
Breakfast with the Bunny
Residents and nonresidents can enjoy a light breakfast of doughnuts and fruit and take photos with the Easter Bunny.
Box Car Movie Day
Kids can decorate a cardboard car and park it for a movie showing at the Kevin Brady Library. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Dye Egg Decorating
During the Dye Egg Decorating event families can get creative with an egg-dyeing activity, participate in an egg hunt and take a photo with the Easter Bunny.
Egg Scramble
This festive Easter celebration will be filled with creativity and colorful eggs for children and families to enjoy. The event will feature an egg hunt, small craft activity and photos with the bunny.
Archers Egg Hunt
Participants can learn the basics of archery and test out their skills with an egg hunt.
Doggie Egg Hunt
Pet parents can dress their dogs in colorful attire and bring them to search for treat-filled eggs and visit a variety of booths and dress in their best colorful attire.
Dog Walker Watch Yappy Hours
During Yappy Hours, residents are invited to meet local enforcement and learn how dog walkers can play an important role in keeping the community safe.
Run & Done 3.1
Recommended for ages 10 and older, The Woodlands Waterway Run and Done 3.1 is a chip-timed race produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and sanctioned by USA Track and Field. After the race, registered participants and their guests can enjoy an egg hunt in Town Green Park.
The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival
The weekend features live music, local food, craft beer, fine wines, hands-on art activities and work by 200 fine artists showcasing sculpture, painting, photography, jewelry, ceramics and more.
Mending Clothes Workshop
Attendees can learn how to mend their clothes with the guidance of experts who will review basic and hand stitching as well as sewing machine techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring clothes to receive personalized assistance with mending approaches. Supplies and machines are provided for in-class use as well as scrap fabric for practicing.
Mother-Daughter Tea
Mothers and daughters can bond over tea, refreshments, crafts, games and photos at the Mother-Daughter Tea.
Spring Thing Luncheon
Willis-based nonprofit New Danville hosts its annual luncheon with a fundraising market and event.
