There are several events taking place in The Woodlands this summer including Fourth of July events, movies on the lawn and live performances. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.
Plastic Film Outreach Day
An expert will be available to teach the community about recyclable plastic bags. Reusable bags and shopping lists will be available while supplies last.
Juneteenth Fish FryA fish fry will be held along with a viewing of a historic photo collage, "The Ground on Which I Stand." The event will also include free books for kids as well as games and vendor booths.
Golden Hour GardeningThe community is invited to learn about landscape and how to reduce mosquitos from landscape designer and award-winning garden book author Cherie Foster Colburn.
Scuderia Exotic Car ShowThe community is invited to the Scuderia Exotic Car Show at Market Street.
Dads, Dinos and Donuts DayFamilies are invited to celebrate Fathers Day and National Dinosaur Day with photo opportunities and a sing along with children’s musician Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse.
Fired Up Tour-Fire Station No. 7Attendees can explore fire apparatus, meet dedicated firefighters and learn essential fire safety practices.
‘Finding Neverland’Class Act Productions is presenting ‘Finding Neverland,’ the musical origin story of Peter Pan.

BioBlitz BoothDuring the in-person BioBlitz Booth, attendees can learn about Texas wildlife from professionals, play games and win prizes.
Let Freedom Chalk Packs of 10 pieces of chalk will be available to pick up at the front desk of The Woodlands Township for community members taking part in The Woodlands chalking contest.
Firecracker 5K runTaking place at The Woodlands Waterway, The Firecracker timed chip 5K course takes place throughout The Woodlands Waterway with awards provided for overall male and female runners, as well as first, second and third place in both male and female age groups.
Red, Hot & Blue FestivalThe Red, Hot & Blue Festival will feature live music, food and family friendly activities across multiple locations throughout the community. The celebration will wrap up with a fireworks display.
Fourth Of July ParadeThe 1.3-mile parade will feature floats, fire engines and marching bands and make its way around The Woodlands. The procession will pass through Market Street and beside Town Green Park.
Red, Hot & PoolAttendees celebrate the Fourth of July with an event featuring games, refreshments and swimming.
Movies on the Lawn: ‘Tangled’Attendees can join The Woodlands Mall for a movie at the lawn featuring "Tangled."
‘Encanto’ with Live Ballet Folklórico“Movie & Dance: Encanto with Live Ballet Folklórico” will feature an evening of music, culture and family fun at The Pavilion.
