There are several events taking place in The Woodlands this fall including fall festivals and Halloween events. Check out a few of them below. This list is not comprehensive.
Tandem Trick or Treat
The Woodlands Township is holding a trick-or-treat kayak experience to offer Halloween treats.
Oct. 18 and Oct. 25, 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.; Oct. 30, 4:30 p.m.
The Woodlands 50th Anniversary Grand Celebration will feature live music at Hughes Landing, children's arts and crafts, face painting, balloon art, live animal shows, arcade games, a ferris wheel, vendors and food trucks at Northshore Park. The celebration will also include a drone and fireworks show.

The Woodlands Arts Council is presenting a craft show to display work of fine craft artists with a curated boutique shopping experience. Ticket proceeds will go to a microgrant program which impacts arts educators, organizations, students, and independent artists in Montgomery County.
Daughters and moms from The Woodlands-based Bluebonnets Chapter of the National Charity League are holding an annual multifamily garage sale. More than 100 families are participating, providing items such as clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, furniture, appliances, books, toys and sporting goods. The event benefits numerous community organizations.
The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department is holding its third annual pumpkin smash to offer residents an opportunity to dispose of their Halloween pumpkins.
The family Creekside Campout will include a weekend with activities such as archery, kayaking, crafts, an outdoor movie, hikes, games and a campfire with s’mores.

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is transforming into a giant playground for the annual Children's Festival. The festival will feature performers on multiple stages; character meet and greets; a special toddler area; arts and crafts; and hands-on activities.

The Veterans Day Tribute will feature a presentation of colors, musical performances, remarks by local dignitaries and a village troop donation challenge. A care package dropoff will be on-site throughout the event to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to troops.

Reading is Revolutionary, a new nonprofit organization, is holding a book festival to celebrate the joy and comfort of being read to as a child. The event will offer games, librarian story times and arts and crafts. In addition, five award-winning children’s book authors and illustrators will take the stage to read their books.
