There are several events taking place through March 21 in The Woodlands including races and an art sale. This list is not comprehensive.
The Woodlands 5K
The Woodlands Marathon will host The Woodlands 5K Run before the full marathon event takes place in March. Individuals are invited to run or walk the 5K course that will traverse the streets of Town Center and return to the finish line. The event will finish on The Woodlands Waterway in front of cheering spectators.

Dr. Seuss book reading
Children can attend a book reading featuring a Dr. Seuss book that follows a brother and sister into a pet store as they try to make up their minds as to what pet to choose.

Participants have the opportunity to run for charities in the Charity Challenge while friends, family and spectators line the streets at various cheer zones to encourage athletes along the way. A 10K and a half marathon are also taking place the same day with later start times.
Read with the Dogs at South Regional Library in The Woodlands is designed to encourage children to practice their reading skills by reading to specially trained therapy dogs.

Participate in the annual Fishing Derby featuring prizes for the longest and heaviest fish caught. T-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ardest Gallery holds a monthly art market with works by local artists. During the March market the gallery will also hold a special event in conjunction with National Children's Craft Day. Throughout the day, the gallery will have drop-in "make and take" art/craft opportunities, activities provided by The Woodlands Arts Council and The Children's Museum, and artist demos.

The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale will feature fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, games, DVDs and coffee-table books at the Community Center and fiction and non-fiction for children at the South Regional Library Meeting Room. There will be a $2 bag sale March 22 from 12:30-3 p.m
