Nine of the 10 municipal utility districts that make up The Woodlands Water Agency will see contested elections in the May 7 election, according to the agency. The elections are nonpartisan. The Woodlands Water Agency is the central management agency for the 10 MUDs, and it provides water distribution, wastewater collection, storm drainage management and tax collection services in The Woodlands.
