Marco’s Pizza will celebrate the opening of its newest location at 9803 Hwy. 242, Conroe, with a grand opening celebration Jan. 27 from 1-4 p.m. The local franchise is owned by Ajit Merchant and offers a variety of customizable pizzas as well as wings; desserts; and sides, such as Cheezybread and meatball bake, for dine-in, delivery or carryout. “After I decided I wanted to get into the pizza industry, I went around to various local pizzerias and tried their product,” Merchant said in a statement. “When I tried Marco’s Pizza for the first time, I just knew this pizza was the one for me. The fresh ingredients and homemade dough really set Marco’s Pizza apart from the competition.
